Me and El have gotten back into a fishing frenzy again. We used to fish, crab and shrimp all the time back in Charleston, but here in Florida...nada!
A couple of years ago we tried a half day fishing trip out in Tampa/Clearwater with Double Eagle Deep Sea Fishing Charters. We really enjoyed it and vowed to try the full day trip sometime. That time has come...
I've tried other charters with some friends, but they sucked ass. Drunk captains, poor fishing grounds chosen, etc. We've even gone a couple of times to try some inshore fishing lately.
The day was warm and clear - perfect for heading out on a boat! Eventhough the day was supposed to be in the mid-80's you would've never guessed it with the cool Gulf breeze blowing in. By the end of the day I was "egg-goat"!
I can't wait for crabbing/shrimping season to start up in a couple of months...
