It certainly would've been great to get out of our routine and step away from the day-to-day. After giving her a hard time (with the bad rainy weather we'd been having for weeks) she pulled the trigger on a beach condo in Siesta Key. Memorial Weekend, summer break for kids, extremely rainy weather - I wasn't expecting much, but anytime away from Orlando would be a nice change of pace. I even planned B'd alot of other things to do there in case it poured cats and dogs (as I expected). I was going to make the most of the trip.
