I'll never second guess El again about planning a trip. Weeks prior to the said weekend event she had been asking me what I wanted to do or where to go. I did want to take advantage of the long holiday weekend, but I was trying to make smart decisions about money spending. Things have been tight and I didn't want to shoot ourselves in the foot financially speaking, but we REALLY needed to take some time off. Not including day trips here and there and the occasional weekender to Charleston we really hadn't been anywhere in over two years.
