Inside the Grand Floridian

The hotel staff was very pleasant and quick. The restaurant staff, however, was another story. El and I came up with the new term for insincerely nice servers and hosts - Splenda - as in "she has a Splenda smile" or artificially sweet. We had lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe which was a foreshadowing of the dinner's experience later on.

Yeah Rick it was typical Floridian wait staff attitude, but amplified moreso because they know it's all tourists and they'll never see them again. Because it's Disney they are actually almost snotty in a weird way. If you do want to stay at the Floridan it's definitely nice, but htere are plenty of non-Disney eateries that are MUCH MUCH better off the property.
